IMS Limited, already the UK’s exclusive distributor of SAF axles & air suspension systems, is to take over the sales and marketing functions of the complete SAF- HOLLAND product range with effect from April 1. The products now transferred to IMS include landing legs, fifth wheels, king- pins and other SAF-HOLLAND associated products.

The products now transferred to IMS include landing legs, fifth wheels, king- pins and other SAF-HOLLAND associated products. Shepshed-based IMS Ltd will create a total solution for the commercial vehicle industry in the UK, and Arran Leatherland, sales and marketing manager at IMS, said: “This move cements the strong relationship we have with SAF-HOLLAND, and indeed, have had with SAF products since the early 1980s. “We approach this move with great confidence – our expertise in the distribution of these products means that we are best placed to carry out the sales and marketing– we have the knowledge, contacts and the resources to succeed.” He added: “As one company, we can provide a complete service from initial enquiry through to aftermarket services.” IMS is already renowned for its comprehensive aftermarket service ‘Full Circle’, which provides training on product fitting and use, aftermarket maintenance training, service network support, aftermarket network support and key account management. SAF-HOLLAND (created from the merger between SAF and the Holland group in 2006) is one of the world's leading manufacturers and suppliers of high-grade product systems and components for commercial vehicles. Products include SAF axles and air-suspension systems, truck fifth wheels, landing legs and semi trailer king pins.
